Known as the great recycler, the lymphatic system plays a vital role in the immune system, serving as a network that collects and transports lymph, a fluid containing immune cells and waste products, back into the bloodstream. Lymph is the first line of defense against illness, it cleanses and nourishes every system of the body. The lymphatic system does not have its own pump to drain the waste, it relies on the pulsing of arteries, muscle contractions, and breathing. This is where lymphatic drainage massage comes into play, through manual movements we are able to stimulate the lymphatic system. When done on a regular basis, lymphatic drainage massage can prevent toxins from accumulating. The lymphatic system is often the overlooked missing link to vibrant health. When lymph flows, everything flows. Good lymphatic health is breath work, exercise, proper diet, and lymphatic drainage massage.
You will instantly look and feel refreshed after a lymphatic massage.

Lymphatic drainage is for everyone! We all have a lymphatic system and can benefit from regular drainage. However, it is not recommended for those who have cancer, uncontrolled diabetes, or are in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Lymphatic drainage is tailored to your specific lifestyle, health, and needs. I recommend most clients have lymphatic drainage every 4-6 weeks. Some clients come in more frequently if they are preparing for a big event or have underlying health conditions.

It is best to be well hydrated 48 hours prior to your appointment, avoid processed foods before and after. Please do not consume alcohol 24 hours prior or after having lymphatic drainage, this could cause flu like symptoms. It is recommended to come to your appointment wearing loose fitted clothing to allow optimal lymphatic flow. Please empty your bladder before your appointment.
